lets talk about ulladulla!

Friday

on friday arvo tom thought 4pmwasa good time to leave so we packed our stuff and ended geting away at 4:04 which is amazing, we would have ben on time but you know how women can talk and talk and talk, well thats what they did and we couldnt move the car until they stopped talking ang got out of the way……..
first we picked up david from his house then we went to toms church in belrose and dropped off a video to the minister then we went to pittwater uniting church to pick up james, as we drove up the driveway we where all in shock at the size and scale of this place this wasone hell of a church building, and the yough hall looked like an airoplane hanger, all set in a nice bush setting, we got past all that to james’s house which looked like a display home from castle hill that the builders had put on a truck and dumped it in pittwater by accident, no offence james it just looked a bit odd.
after pittwater our next stop was austenmer i dohnt know how to spell it doesnt mattter, here we picked up a camera from toms cousins house, then it was maccas time where we sat and tried to solve the worlds problems like “whats the diference between a setee and a couch”
We arrived in ulladulla about 10pm i think, ulladulla james had a cool house, he had a little flatbeside the house and that where we stayed, there where four beds on the floor all neatly made with a towel folded on each one, it was very welcoming, we sat around telling poo storys til the wee hours of the morning.

Saturday

we all woke up pretty early and you could tell that we where trying to get back to sleep but it was very hard, so eventually we all had our showers with 20min breaks inbetwen so the water could heat up again, then we had breakfast and headed off to the churchto set up for the concert.
david and james had to make a cord and buy some plugs and tom and i wired everything up and tested things and ran cables, during the setting up my tv blew up, but luckily we where able to aquire another.
when it started getting dark we put colour bars up onm the screens so it looked like we where tesint something and we looked professional, they looked good up on the big screen.

The Concert

During the concert we had a few minor glitches but nothing dramatic and all worked out fine in the end, tom and dan where doing hand held stuff on the stage and got some really good shots and james had my camera which gave out far better picture quality than the other cameras so it didnt matter what sort of shots james got they just looked awsome on the big screen, and poor old david ahd the VHS-C camera which was grainey and washed out, we still used his camera a lot, it was one didgy looking scafolding tower that david was standing on, infact it ripped his pants earlier in the day and he just dissapeared he then reappeared about 10mins later with a new pair of pants he bought from a local shop…..hes a funny chap.
It was a lot of fun mixing and talking on coms, little dan kept sayin stuff on coms like “see those guys at the front dancing, they are real loosers” then after a little bit of siulence he would then say “i’mnot being mean they really are loosers” it was very funny.

the concert ended and we packed up our gear and loaded it intothe hannah van, then we helpedpack up everythibng else, we where all extremely tired by the end of it all.

Sunday

we left ulladulla and began our trek home, the first part of the journey following a jeep who refused to let people overtake him, he woulddrive slow when there was only one lane then when an overtaking lane was present he would speed up and if people tried to overtake him he woulc change lanes and cut in front of them…he was an absolute dog.
we had some donuts and tried to go to sizzler but the line was to long so it was off the maccas, got home had a sleep went to church with tom came home went to bed.
