BIG BALL BONANZA A RETROSPECTIVE!

Well Ryan and Howie’s Big Ball Bonanza has now been and gone, it was an awsome event celebrating community and team spirit, The afternoon began with the nice drive down to Crosslands reserve, followed by a friendly kick around of the big ball. A bit of lunch cooked on the bbq which was kept burring by our resident crosslandas guru Mr Pickle DeBeer. After eating it was time for a bit of a warm up the it was time to split into teams and let the big ball begin. And oh boy did it begin, it wasn’t long into the game when we had our first casualty, avid, who was snapped in two by the attacking Ryan. It began to rain, but in true big ball spirit we kept at it! The rain got heavier and heavier we kept going and going, with many slides and tackles and bodies flying through the air. It was a great afternoon and will defiantly be repeated in the near future.

I came home and headed for the shower, that nice warm shower it was so nice until the shower head fell off onto my head, i had to spend the rest of my shower holding the shower head on with one hand.

I’m warm now!
