anyway lets talk more about the matrix reloaded!
Asi said before it wasnt as good as the first one, I seem to have been a bit dissapointed with sequels lately and i thnk i know the reason, the amount of hype and media blow up of sequels is so extraogant and vibrant and building up the suspense and drama and expectations until your head is about to explode in anticipation for the release of the sequel “its gonna be so much better than the first” “bige better, loude, more characters, more story, more effects, ost more money” all that stuff is really bad for the film becasue you go and watch the film and its probably an awsome film, but you are expeting it to be so much more becasue of all the hyoe aroud it, so you walk aout feeling a bit ripped off. And this is what happened last night, i was expeting too much.
Ryan talked about last ngiht a lot too and I’m sure tom will and chris and david so read their blogs for a different perspectie.
There some bits of the film that just didnt need to be there, and ryan talked about them too, there was a sex scene that was well just not needed at all, it added nothng to the film infact if anytthing it took away from the film, turing it into a smutty hollywood “sex sells” ibe. There was also a dance scene where everyone was dancing after a service in the grand temple of zion, now i hae no problem with dance scenes, but this one had an emphasis on womens nipples, it was gross, there was noe need for the womens nipples to be exposes, zion isnt supposed to be some sleezy byron bay horny nudist colony. The only purpose i could see for the scene was to make horny men feel that it was a greater film than it was, so that when they leae the fil, they will get a sense of fulfilment,”that moie ad it all, action,sex, and nude women and nipples” what more ould you want ?
And yes the script, well the script definatly needed to be shortened, maybe even proof read would hae been a good idea, the only people who would enjoy a script ike that would be social workers, becasue social workers loe idle chit chat, just normality and general conversation, but in a film you are just wasteing time if you have idle chit chat, you have to get to the point and move on. If you are a social worker go see the film you’ll know what i’m on about.
this sounds like i absolutely hated the film, thats not true it was fun, lots of very cool action, the fights where amazingly coriagraphed and orchestrated! the special effets where amazing, the best speial effects in my iew are the ones that you dont notice, seamless and perfect they where…..
I am waiting for te next one now, it will be good, but i am going to try and not get swamped up in the hype surrounding the film that way i will enjoy it much more!
