I had my interview at IPC today and so did chris, Chris was saying that they cant do anything if he doesn’t do what they ask, but they can because they are a job network member who centrelink has out-sourced too, but IPC is nice and they will tell centrelink you are doing the right thing. I had to fill out lots of forms and they are giving me this personal website thing that has my resume on it and jobs that I should apply for.
The chick who took my interview seemed about 12 years old and in here head I think she was thinking “look at me, look at me I’m 12 and I have a job, you don’t ,look at me, look at me” It was a bit strange any way that was my IPC experience, then I went downstairs to Centrelink and I was served by Darren who said “good afternoon Robert” I then handed him my form which had my name on it! I have become a centrelink regular part of the family, that’s not good.
Anyway Darren just looked up at me and said “Did you have a good weekend Robert, bit of time to relax” I said “yeah it was good how about you” and he started going on about how he needs a good break at the end of the week so he can recharge his batteries so he is fresh for work on Mondays, I then made a joke about how me both need a break at the end of the week after a strenuious week working for the Government, he didn’t get the joke and said I needed to declare any employment I may have even if it was with the government. He processed my form and I went off to jacks.
