There has been a lot of talk about blogging lately and why people blog and who they are blogging for and why should they blog and that sort of thing, and the conversations have got me thinking. Why do I write a blog,? And my conclusion is that I don’t know, its fun, but why is it fun is it fun cause I can just write or is it fun because I’m writing and entertaining people or at least attempting to entertain, is it fun because people read it therefore they are interested in my life, I don’t know I have no idea, I just really enjoy blogging. Is it extreme self indulgence, or is it just fun. Would I be upset if no one read it ?
I don’t think I could write about my thoughts and feelings if no one was reading it, I know that sounds strange, but having an audience makes me talk about it, if I had no audience I just don’t write or talk about my feelings at all, and I don’t really talk about my feelings all that much on my blog but I do a bit and that bit would be gone if I wasn’t writing for an audience. It’s a bit strange, I tried to write a journal once but I couldn’t keep it up, I just cant do it, unless its for people to read. Like the journal I wrote in Uganda was kind of deep I talked about feelings and stuff but I knew that when I got home the journal was going to be how I explained my trip. I really enjoy writing but only if its for a purpose and myself is not a purpose that I can write for.

Did any of that make any sense at all ?
