Trackwork, busses and a lost nemo
August 23, 2003 11:03 pm general chit chatWell today I went to Jo’s house, I met her mum, we watched 8 mile and sat around we also had maccas for lunch as previously highlighted. Today was trackwork day so in total I caught 2 trains and 4 busses. That’s what I call commitment.
Finding nemo
Awesome film
Crap cinema
Actually it was more than awesome it was just amazing, pixar are the bomb when it comes to films these days. Such good animation and script and stuff it was really really cool
And actually the cinema was worse than crap it was shocking, dodgy seats with no leg room and short back rest, screen long long long way away and not much bigger than home television, sound quality something to be desired, infact wouldn’t surprise me if it was 2 computer speakers gaffer taped to the wall down the front and we where watchig the film on a burnt vcd that was picked up in Singapore on Barry’s last overseas trip. Not to mention the tall guy in front of me, his head filled half the screen all I saw was blue water for an hour and a half no fish, I never found nemo.
142 people went including me..not a bad turn out.

Well - do you know, another local cinema in Hby ran a fundraiser for a struggling local charity the other day- they got 30 people along!!!
And Odeon has 3 hours free parking, stadium seating, a *mega* screen, and stereo surround sound - says so on their programme.
Nemo was the little fish btw

The abc is not a good food outlet, its food is dodgy, out of date and expensive. THe odeon may support local business but it doesnt support people with dissabilities, blind people cant go there because the screen is so damn small, deaf people cant go there cause they use 2 computer speakers that normal people can only just hear, people in wheelcahirs cant even get into the bloody foyer. Greater Union has a whole food court, and big screens and good sound and CLOSE parking if you know where to park.
