On the train on the way home from rough edges I decided to take a break from Boys Brigade at least until next term.

pimples have made a come back, its not good its not exciting, like when yo yo’s come back into fashion thats interesting and fun maybe even skivvies but pimples suck and they suck every time they come back!

Yesterday was Thursday and a very long day at that.
It began at 8am with a Fusion team meeting at Kaias house. Then it was of to the office where I fought with the computer a little trying to get analogue capture to work and trying to rip music of CD’s, neither of which I succeeded in. Then after being in the office for a bit it was time for jacks. I spent all of jacks time in same chair making a house out of paddle pop sticks because it was paddle pop day, a few kids joined in and helped me with my house or made their own thing, one of the boys made a lamp shade it was cool.
After jacks I went to the city to meet matt the pom, we had some Ali Baba then went to 8 o”clock sharp, to see Mic Conways National Junk Band and they where very cool I liked them, then I came home and went to sleep.

Today I’m off to Rough Edges and Boys Brigade, I’m having second thoughts about Boys Brigade at the moment like whether or not I will continue to go.

I got my phone bill yesterday and it is $202, I have some advice for all you out there who plan on getting a phone with polyphonic ringtones, Never ever ring up those ring tone places and get one sent to your phone. Is spent $34.87 on 2 ringtones that I don’t even use…….dogs.

This morning as I was standing on Hornsby station and a freight train came down the tracks the 3 engines went past me and it was going at a reasonable speed, I’d say about half the train had gone past me when there wis this loud crunching noise and the train kept going but there was the second half of the train coming to a hault infront of me, I looked up the track and saw the front half of the train screech to a hault, then there was much panic by cityrail staff. Never seen a train break in half before.

I was doing a piss in the toilets in Chatswood Westfield there I am do do da do minding my own business whilst doing my own business and suddenly a female Westfield security guard bursts in with her radio in her hand then she looks around then leaves again..very strange.

On a side note myself and Jo are now an item, yes its official!

Today was another fusion day, I started trying to put stuff together for the Advent video, but movie maker and ulead are such dodgy programs, you cant do anything, you cant cut clips and move stuff around you cant fade in and out audio they have really bad usability and they smell bad.
So I think we need to upgrade to a better program, premiere’s only $400 for an academic pack, but I reckon that community organisations could probably only have to pay $400 too or maybe even less, I might ring Adobe on Thursday from the office.

Jacks was fun today, I got to be the shop keeper, I like using the cash register its fun, I even had a good time mopping the floor, Joel is very strong.

Then after jacks it was off to community dinner at Keith and Stellas house which was fun too. I suggested to David and Chris that we go see a film so we went to see American Pie 3, and it was very very bad, infact we got up and left halfway through! It was disgusting, and poor and repulsive and painful and grrr it was bad. then when we walked out of the cinema I got a sms from jo that said “dont see American pie 3 its not very good”

Chris has bookmarked me as ‘SMUG BASTARD’ becasue of my webstats, the reason he is getting all upset is because his stats are a bit less than mine, i’m not smug chris says to me whats your stats and i tell him then he call me a bastard.

I had a good little God moment today. Jen and I where both sitting in the office whinging about the rain because I was about to walk home and she was about to walk to the bank so we had a good complain about the rain, It got to the point where I just had to leave if I wanted to be back at jacks on time so I went to the door with the rain falling and falling, then when I opened the door the rain just stopped, just like that, bang it was a dry sky. A little piece of awesomeness.

I came home and applied for jobs and filled out my centrelink form then went up to centrelink where I waited in line for ages, just to find out that my youth allowance is gonna get cancelled in 2 weeks cause I turn 21. They said they weren’t sure how to reinstate it but I should just wait til it gets cut off then go in….
They have such a good system.

Then it was off to jacks, where Steve sprayed me with some perfume fruit spray, but I got him back with a rose one. Jacks was fun, I played 2 games of pool and lost both. I also drank this Barbie bubble gum flavoured fruit drink, it was so gross. Then when I was feeling peckish a bit later I microwave cooked a frozen pizza it was gross too, it tasted like fish and was all wet and sloppy. It probably would have been good if I had put it in the oven.

It sucks in 2 weeks today I will be 21 years old, that’s very old, I don’t act like a 21 year old, I don’t look like a 21 year old I don’t smell like a 21 year old, well I might smell like a 21 year old if I didn’t have this fruit perfume sprayed on me. The fact of it all is that I don’t like birthdays anymore the last few years I really haven’t enjoyed birthdays and I don’t look forward to them, not because I’m getting old but because I just don’t like parties and hype and birthdayness. So I’m not having a party and I really really don’t want a party, so if anyone is organising a surprise party please don’t because I wont enjoy it.
I’m happy to gather with friends and have a coke or something but that’s about it or maybe watch a DVD. But no parties!
The other bonus with not having a party is that tom has no where to show an embarrassing video and he has no motivation to make it because there is no one around to see it.

I agree with Ryan, Sal’s song quotes are cool, especially the Crowded House ones Not that the rest of her blog isn’t cool, its always a good read.

Here I am sitting in the Fusion office, trying ti fill time, you see i’m capturing video at the moment so I have about 40mins to kill while the computer captures away, its capturing Christmas pagent footage, the footage isn’t very good and its going to have to be another video like the uluru one where the bulk of the video will be still images put to music, which I’m not a big fan of for a few reasons.
1. Still images don’t capture the moment as well, its much harder to feel part of the action and excitement.
2. it’s a real bastard to edit using stills and moving picture
3. its much harder to have a narrative.

I probably sound like some snotty video maker who hates stills photography, but that is far from the truth, I love still photos and I would love to have a good SLR camera, I just don’t like mixing the two mediums on a video.

Yes last night I went to Tom’s church, it was good I liked it, I haven’t been there yet and not enjoyed it, there are some little parts of the service that I don’t enjoy but there is always going to be something you don’t like about church, because church isn’t just for you it has to cater for a broad spectrum of people. Rob Saunders did the sermon last night, I wasn’t a big fan of the prayer thing we did after the sermon but it was bearable. The dude who was running the prayer said that there where 3 rules to praying, and I disagree with that I don’t think there are any rules, prayer doesn’t have restrictions. Anyway that’s my point of view, he also suggested that we pray with our eyes open so that we could see the Spirit move on the people who we where praying for, I found it very hard to pray with my eyes open I get distracted to easily and also why do we need to see the Spirit move on other people, sure its cool.

After Matt came and had a chat to me and wants to meet up with me and get to know me that’s kind of cool.

Then it was off to maccas for some frivolities and fries, and I have to say that I made a boo boo at maccas for the first time in as long as I can remember I dunked my first nugget is the sauce. I always eat my first nugget straight then after the first nugget is gone I can open the sauce but last night I didn’t. I feel like I have wronged myself and that I have to apologise to myself for committing such an act of self disrespect.

I have to go home soon and apply for jobs and fill out my centrelink form then come back and do Jacks.

Fun fun.

I don’t know what to have lunch today, maybe a chicken roll from charcoal chicken, Lesley was telling me and tom on Saturday morning that charcoal chicken is gonna get knocked down so they can build bloody apartments. They cant get rid of charkies, we have been eating there for years and years, I wont cope if they get rid of the home of the best hot chips and gravy. OHHHHHHHHHHHH Developments suck, apartments apartments apartments its all about the council getting more rates and more people in the shire so they can become a city, but who is going to want to live in a city that doesn’t have charcoal chicken ????????

Yesterday was a long day, I arose at 7:09 and had a shower and had a glass of milk them it was off to pittwater for filming, The Pittwater Uniting Rec Centre was awsome it was like the perfect location. Today was probably the most technical shoot we have ever done over the years, it was good hard work. We wherent as silly on this shoot as we where 2 weeks ago, I think everyone was tired and concentrating too hard to be too silly, although there was still a bit of sillyness. Stedi-cams are very hard to use and I still haven’t got it down pat, so I was very under prepared to do a stedicam shot but that’s ok. The spider dolly is very very cool and will defiantly be hired again.
After a long day of filming it was of to the TEAR tucker where I washed dishes for an hour or so , I washed heaps of stuff, I counted all the dinner plates and it was 59 dinner plates and lots of small dessert plates and cups and cutlery and stuff, my hands where very wrinkled.
Then I came home and me and Jane went to Belrose to pick up Tinku from his night of working at some Pub.

Today I slept in til 12:30 which was awesome, I have been looking forward to sleeping in for weeks now, and it was awesome, I got out of bed at about 1:30 I think then shaved and showered and had some biscuits, tonight I’m going to Toms church again.

Lately it seems that things really are beginning to piss me off. I have spent my whole life not being pissed off at anything or anyone, and being calm and collected all tha time but lately i have noticed a change in me where i am getting pissed off at things that happen and things that are said.
Its sad really becasue i dont want to be pissed off, its not an enjoyable feeling.
I Think distance can be a good medicine, dont know if its the best medicine though.

if i keep changing i’l turn into a grumpy old man before i know it.

So if i have been pissed off lately i’m sorry. I’m gonna try and be a nice calm and collected personagain, someone who isnt affected by other peoples comments and actions.

I had lunch with 2 of my cousins today, Donata and Ravena in North Sydney, it was good we had bay swiss food, I’m not a fanof posh food, it was ok but my 600ml coke was the bomb!
At the moment i’m at Rough Edges, computer tutor man! thats what they call me.

wow 2 blog posts in one day, thats a bit rash, i should slow down. Dont want to give people the impression that i’m an obsessant blogger.

Wednesday was Stedicam day, tom and I went down to Digihire after first going to belrose to get toms sunnies that where not there. We arrived at Dgihire and the man said that the stedicam hadn’t come back yet from a hire, so we sat around. Until the man decided that he could go home and get a new stedicam that he was selling so he went and got it.
Then we began our lesson, firstly we learnt how to balance the system and align stuff, then he demonstrated how to wear the vest and put the arm in and stuff. Tom was the first one of us to put the system on, he couldn’t get the pin in, the man kept telling tom he walked like a duck and swayed from side to side, he kept telling tom to do the “crab” walk which he would demonstrate. Then I had a turn too, he said the same things about my walking abilities. Then we came home and walked around the house with a stedicam getting in some much needed practice. Then it was Audience with Andrew, then off to the city fro TOOBSC filming. Then sleep.
Yesterday was fusion day, I was in a silly mood again yesterday, there is something about the fusion office that makes me go all silly. Anyway I did the stuff on the list that bel had left for me to do and I made an Admin account on the editing computer and changed the wallpaper.
And today I practiced some stedicam moves, and now I’m off to lunch with my cousins in North Sydney then off to Rough Edges then off to Boys Brigade.

My life is very busy at the moment and so is my head. I need to get more sleep and spend more time with just Robert.

Ryan seems to be enjoying Uni, I am even having the odd thought that he might finish Uni and graduate and stuff. He’s not famous for his commitment to educational institutions.

I think maybe i have become a burnt out blogger, I did so much intense blogging without big breaks and now I am all blogged out, it’s a shame, but I just cant get motivated to write at the moment, I love blogs and I love reading blogs but at the moment I don’t love writing in my blog. I’m sure I will bounce back.

David put together the Fusion editing computer today, that’s a bit of fun.

I think I have a lot of things on my mind at the moment so blogging has been pushed back a bit, I’m too busy thinking about fusion and my future with fusion, and my current-ness with fusion, and jobs and centrelink, and girls and birthdays and goals for my life and family and sleep and church and God, and Bible and lack of God and Bible and church. And food and healthy food and much more, I’m going through a thinking stage at the moment.

Addressing Chris’s point on me not wanting to learn, I do want to learn and I am always learning and I do want to lean, I was saying that I cant handle institutional learning and classroom learning, more so than school days where I found it hard but now its much much harder for me to handle. Lectures and text books and stuff I just find it well almost un-bearable but not quite.
Much more of a hands on practical learner.

I think I’m going through a blog slump!

Here I am, I have made it to moveable type thanks to the brilliance of chris.

Well friday was rough edges day, not all that interesting really.
Then this weekend was the Fusion State Conference, that was good, I didn’t really talk to anyone that I hadn’t met before but that’s nothing unusual for me, Mal Garvin is very good at talking and he will say he is about to call someone out the front to tell us about something but then he fires off into some long story that turns into another story that turns into the fusion goals that turns into a story that then relates to the person he was calling up.
Early mornings, yesterday breakfast was at 8 same today but I decided not to eat breakfast so I could get extra sleep. There was a lot of sitting and listening, but it was good listening like the people doing the talking had good stuff to say, it wasn’t like sitting down listening to someone talk to you about ball bearings for 3 days.
Although ball bearings are kind of cool.
I chatted to Dave Mitchell a bit about video stuff with fusion, and pretty much hung out with the Hornsby guys.
It was good though, tomorrow I’m going off to some fusion training course thingy and tonight I’m going to Tom’s church because he is preaching, with Ryan Tinku and maybe John and Jo, SNOAM is on tonight tooo.
Well I’m off to Rod, sleep and shower now.
