howie’s halfpipe

Well i woke up at 5:30 am and had a shower and got stuff together then john and i walked up to the station, i went to jacks then to the office then back to jacks carrying a big table. Tim and Don met me at jacks at about 6:50 we then loaded up the car and went off to the mall to set up, Richard arrived and unloaded his sound gear, and i played human ping pong between the mall, the inn and the pcyc.
It was a definate day of last minutes, a few technical glitches in the concert but mosty ok.
Anyway the pageant finnished on time and jen and i began our journey to the airport. We got to the airport, i mindied the car in the drop off zone while jen ran in and went to the dunny. Then she left and i went to check in.
I stood in line and eventually got to a counter, and i handed over my flight details thingy and she typed stuff in the computer i put my bags on the conveyer belt. Then the Qantas woman said “have you checked in already earlier today sir?” i said no asi had just arrived, she then told me that I was already booked in, which is very odd, like someone had already booked in earlier on my ticket, she she called supervisers who called supervisers who called supervisers until there where 4 qantas employees talking on phones and to each other all standing behind the little desk.
I dont know what they did but they printed out a boarding pass and took my bags so it all got sorted somehow, which is nice.
Tjhey let me on the plane and i’m now blogging from melbourne airport waint for my flight to launceston.
