sportsman on the year
I must say that I am in love the game of Frisbee throwing, I have never been the most co-ordinated person and sports have never really entered my life, there was the parental force that made me do little athletics, little A’s was a shocker, in shotputt I could hardly lift thee weight, in discuss I couldn’t do the spinning thing, in long jump I would only just reach the sand, in sprinting I would come last and die of an asthma attack, in hurdles I would hurt my shins, Little A’s wasn’t for me.
I also tried soccer, I played for Mt colah for several years and then Berowra for one (all in primary school) Again my co-ordination didn’t help, my favourite part about soccor was when mum was on the “tuck shop” so I could get free lollies.
During high school, I always managed to get out of sport because I had “video stuff” to do, and if I couldn’t get out of sport I would sit on the side and watch, I still got changed into my sports uniform and stuff, It seems that my sports teacher (mr heartnett) never noticed, because my report for sport was always really good, it would list all these sports that I had played and how well I did at them, The strange thing was that most of the sports on the list my whole class didn’t do, heartnett just used to make up the entire report for everyone, it was impossible to do badly at sport.
Then in the senior years I always managed to get out of grade sport, I never had to play and sport against another school. I always did social sport, like table tennis where you sit around in the year 12 common room and read dolly magazines, the there was ice skating where you would skate around for a bit then show the teacher the not that your mum had written so you could leave early. Tom did ice sskating too and we used to leave early each week and catch a bus home.
Social circket was good too, we sat around on the side of an oval in the middle of St Ives, and that was it.
So sport has never really dominated my life, I have never suffered any sports injuries.
But Frisbee “oh boy” how much fun is it.
Want to play frisbee?
then come to waitara oval tonight from 5pm onwards
Its that soppy time of night again
I must say that life is pretty tops at the moment, I never really talk about how I’m feeling on here but right now I feel like talking about me, maybe its because its 2am and I will regret this in the morning when I read back over it, but you get that!
Yes life is grand, Been seeing a lot of jo which is very cool, because as you know I like jo, so far this year we have seen each other everyday, that sounds impressive “hello did you know I have seen my girlfriend every day this year” its just a shame that there have only been 4 full days so far this year.
I’m having a good holiday, hanging with my buddies, I think I would like to go away on a spontaneous adventure with sillyness and late night frivolities but that’s not going to happen, I have to stay home and edit wedding videos.
It will be good to go back to work too
My life is defiantly changing, I’m moulding and turning into a bit of a broader person (not physically), doing new things, enjoying things I once didn’t enjoy, its good. Having a good time.
Amen
jo bought me a new diary and on january 26 it says
Australia Day (excluding New zealand)
The problem is that in joking about something it can then start to become a reality, like joking about becoming a dancer……I’m not about to become a dancer, but I’m thinking about it.
Dogs
Terrorism, war, pepsi, guns, military, rape, racism, grape fruit, politicians, phone bills, pollution, marzipan, social status, adultery, gambling, family breakdown, poaching, greed, body odder, shoe laces, sexism, sun burn, headaches, obesity, back hair, sin, fear, mockery, black jelly beans, murders, fights, borders, lies, snot, bad breath, dog poo, bee stings, rent, used by dates, fines, lateness, lazyness, abortion, distraction, stains, rips, nightmares, potholes, speed bumps, depression,
This afternoon we had a very scattered adventure to the beach, things like having no cars, then having a car but a car with no second gear, then attempting to change car but realising the new car has not enough seats. Finally we set off, then realising we didn’t have enough seats and that one person had been waiting at the beach for an hour already.
In the end it all worked out, making fun out of challenging situations seems to be a knack that a lot of us possess
while you where sleeping
Yep, myself, ryan, jo and david walked to Belrose last night from Chatswood, we left Hornsby at 10:50pm arriving in Chatswood at about 11:20 we then walked and walked until we arrived at jo’s house at 2:30am. Jo stayed but ryan david and I began our return journey, leaving jo’s at 2:50 we arrived at Roseville station at 4:38am the train came at 5:48am I got home at 6:15am.
Quite an adventure, my feet where killing, all pussing and gross inside my shoe from the flying fox injuries I obtained the night before. But it was fun, We had a mascot named “bobo”. He was a little plastic elephant we bought from woollies for $1.25. He walked along beside ryan the whole journey.
We had a picnic about half way and had a game of Frisbee and ate food under the roseville bridge.
All in all it was a damn fine trip. THe walking part of it was about 16km (9.9 miles)
I love spontaneity

I would just like the world to know that I love jo kemp
Well new years day was a fun one.
I woke up sometime between midday and 1:30, then had my shower and went off to the beach with tom, jo French, jo kemp, Michael, kaia, mark, david, lesely and chris. That was fun we went to freshwater beach, and parked quite a long way away, but “oh boy” it was a good park.
The water was very flat but it was still fun, being the “summer of shirts off” I had a lay down on the beach in my attempt to get brown, so far no change I’m still white, very white.
After the beach we came home for a bit then went to kaia’s house for some fun, a bit of backyard Frisbee throwing then us boys trotted across the road to the park where we discovered a flying fox, quite a new flying fox, so being boys we all had a go then tried to work out how many different ways we could ride it and how we could make it faster and more spectacular, our masculine shinanigins resulted in me putting some nice big wounds on my feet, blood puss all that!
The girls came over and joined in too, leseley was quite the gymnast
there is chalk writting all over hornsby saying “brokenman.net”
I have to say its not a very interesting website
New years Eve celebrations went off like a cracker, we all gathered at Observitory Hill, had some foods and drinks and laughs and chats and stuff, oh a fun game of Frisbee throwing, I can throw it pretty damn straight now, I just cant catch it.
I’m not quite sure how many people came, or who they all where but here is the people I can remember.
