Tonight myslef, jem, chris, tom, david and anmol went to see Kill Bill Vol 2. And i have to say it was definatly not as good as the first one. Originally it was going to be one film, but then at the last minute quentins dash for cash overcame him and he split the film in half. I think as one whole film it would have worked much better, the first one was fun, in a gory kung fu kind of way, there where big fight scenes with swords and spurting blood and flying heads and flips and ducking and weaving. A lot more intense and interesting. Plus the first one had that freaky animation. This volume 2 didnt have anything like that. The fight scenes where mediocuer. the whole film just seemed like a bit of padding.

You know when you are with someone you know quite well, and both of you then begin talking to someone that your firend knows but you dont really know. Then your friend goes off to the toilet and you are stuck with the person you dont know very well. the conversation is very weak, its all just padding out until your friend comes back and there is a common ground again.

Well this film felt like that awkward conversation, it was just padding to fill in time while quentin reeps in the bucks.

on the other side of the coin there where some good bits to the film, The old kung fu master was very cool. He was a bit of an exhadurated sensai from “the karate kid” probably sensai’s mean uncle.

I have decided to start giving films ratings and i give Kill Bill Vol 2
