bye bye for 15 days
April 30, 2004 11:47 pm general chit chatIts 11:42pm and I’m sitting in the office still. I’m about to start carrying stuff up the road to cafe. Been sorting stuff out all day. Its funny how my “days off” never really are days off. There is always work to do. Oh well part of works mission statement is “doing whatever it takes” And I think I live to that pretty well.
Its been a hectic week leading up to uluru, but a good week, it hast been negative, just hard work. And its only going to get harder in the next 2 weeks.
I still haven’t really processed the trip yet, like the fact that in 7 hours I will be on a bus with 20 something young people on a trip that will change their lives. I’m sure it will all sink in tomorrow as soon as I step on that coach.
This will be my last blog post for 15 days.
You may miss my blog a bit, but I think I will miss blogging more than you will miss my blog. Thankyou for reading my blog.
I thought about setting a challenge to beat 100 comments on this post while I am away. So then when I come home I feel really special, and I beat matts effort as the comment king.
So in order to spark up a commenting frenzy I need to say something controversial or something secret or a scandal or gossip.
So you heard it here first folks.
I heard a rumor that I am extremely good looking and that most ladies find me irresistible.

I think that part of it must be a fact. Howie is clearly very good looking. I think however that not most women have fallen for his charms. Surely they know that his hear is taken by the most lovely Jo Kemp.

there is an internet cafe at Yulara where the pilgramge stays at Uluru. so the question is will Howie find time to use it! Kids on the vic trip did!

Tom and Howie is a hard one to judge. They are both fine young men. I think it should be upto the women to vote on this one.
Howie’s photo’s on the top left corner of the blog. And Tom’s picture is all over his blog. So why not have a look at the photo’s and decide who you like the look of more.

Actually I I’d wonder about that. 15 days is a long time. And lots of blogs to read to catch up on. He could be over it…you never know…all that time in open spaces sleeping under the stars might have put him off technology for good.

well if howie goes, the time taken to catch up on the reading of other ppl’s blogs would be significantly decreased as howie’s posts seem to take up substantial blog reading time. in the procrastination sense this may be a good thing, but otherwise it would make the blogging world a little less interesting…
