I have so much snot at the moment. I got a cold whilst down in tassie and its still hanging around. Its anoying cause i cant seem to shake it.

Well yesterday I was back in the office. Due to school holidays jacks hasn’t been open. Yesterday jen and I went up to open for the afternoon and jen went ti inspect the poo garden and found a dead rabbit, we looked at it for a while trying to work out what sort of animal it actually was and we decided it was a rabbit. It was right next to the poo garden. It was pretty gross and smelt pretty bad. The rabbits spine was laying beside the dead animal. Kind of gross like the spine had been torn out of its back.

So what do you do with a dead rabbit.

Well you cover it in potting mix of course and more grass seeds.
And due to its close proximity to the poo garden we could simply extend the poo garden to cover the rabbit too. The grass out the back of the café is really taking off.

Today I re-installed windows on my work computer…

Stupid bill gates

blobbing seems so distant at the moment. Without having the facilities to allow people to coment and interact i have no desire to blog.

Its weird i just cant get motivated to blog.

i set a newspaper on fire tonight in the backyard just for fun

Well i just arrived home from the airport. I’m back from tassie.

It was a crazy time, i’m very very tired. I’m going to bed now but i’ll write again sometimes in the next few days…

ohhh and i’ll trey and fix this site up a bit too.

Well my blog is broken again. My blog seems to break a lot. normally it is because i have broken some html tag or stuffed up a template. but this time its just broken. I havent touched it. In fact ryan fixed it last night, he fixed the comments. but now its all gone to the dogs. comments dont work, categories dont work…its all dead….

It looks like it should be on, but its not……
I really hope i can get it fixed. Well getting it fixed really sint an option at the moment. i’m not the most finnancialy abundant person. But hopefuly before i go to athens.

sometimes i wish i had a job that paid, just for things like that. But then i think hey i’m going to Greece, and i get to hang out with young people all the time and i get to work for God and thats cool.
But money would be nice too.

In the process of making that last post my digital camera slipped out of my hand and bounced on the floor. .

I think its pretty broken. It wont turn on and the lens is sticking out like it is turned on. When you press the power button it flashes on then makes a funny noise and turns off again.

I really hope its not the end of an era. I love my camera. that would be too depressing a year. It was only a few months ago that my digital video camera died. I didnt even drop it.

its a sad day.

I’m in the process of moving desks at the office.
Today i moved my two computers and some draw thigs and the video player. all the fun stuff. All the mess and paperwork i am yet to move. but here is what my old desk will look like for the next two weeks while i’m away in tasmania.

Well i challenged jen (the previous champ) for the trophey today. It was a close game. But it all ended in tears for poor jen.

The D Clamp is mine…well at least until someone challenges me for it.

Its a bit weird that David has gone, no more hot chips and gravy on Sunday afternoons for 5 and a half months. No more random sms’s. Hornsby just wont be the same.

Lets round up the weekend.

Saturday: Saturday was spent sleeping, shaving, and poshing up my blog. In the process of shaving i have created myself some sideburns. Not sure how long they will stay but for now they are going to stick around.

Then it was time for David and i to have our last hot chips and gravy together.

Then the dinner of fun in the city. Good food, good company. I beat tim at pool

Today we morning church with tom and jo. I have never been to morning church at belrose before. It was good i liked it. Then off to the airport to wave bye bye to david. Then back to kemps house where i fell asleep in one of those poshy recliner chairs.

I hope when I’m a grandpa i have one of those smoky Dawson chairs, they look like fun.

Then night time church which was good too.

Myself, jem and chris saw spiderman 2 last night. Actually so did ryan but he didn’t see it with us. I think it was probably better than the first one. The major problem with movies these days is that they milk the story too much, so that can get big $$$$$. Like 2 spiderman films is pushing it but they fully set up for at least another one. Film making has lost a bit of the art and the spectacle. Now its just make money, milk a story then make another film with different actors but pretty much the same story.
Its sad.

But yeah spiderman 2 was pretty cool, it has a bit of everything, it has comedy and drama and action. Pretty good script, of course there was a few hollywood bad lines.

Tomorrow is davids bye bye dinner, sunday is davids bye bye at the airport. Monday is office all day then Athens meeting in campsie. Tuesday is a daytrip. Wednesday is fly to tasmania day, for youth foundations training, then sunday youth foundations begins, the following sunday is fly back to sydney day.
Back in sydney for 2 anda bit weeks then fly to Greece dor 3 weeks. then come back for 3 weeks then fly to tassie for one week.

my poor little body, its lucky i’m so buff.

I was thinking about heaven this afternoon, and it was like right now as we plod around on earth all the people who are in heaven already are getting the place ready for the big influx of people that will arrive when Jesus goes and gets them all.
There are people putting up banners, and old ladies in hats setting up these tables with scones on them, while these old guys in braces and tight grandpa pants set up the earns for tea and coffee. There is a big green patch of grass where there is some big white trucks and guys are pulling rigging and scaffolding and staging out of the truck for the big “welcome home concert”. The heavenly bands are doing sound checks and the big search lights are tested each night. The “heaven womens auxiliary” are photocopying and folding the programs for the big concert. There is a big OB van where they are getting ready to do a live mix of the concert, with lots of giant screens.
On the other side of the green patch there is builders working day and night building Truman show style housing for us all to live in, with little picket fences and stuff.

God walks around with a clipboard seeing how all the preparations are coming along. And Jesus is off running the childcare program while all the other get ready building houses and playing in bands and folding programs.

People with mental disabilities don’t have a disability, they are the most able people on this planet. How many people with a mental disability do you see judging people, holding grudges, blackmailing, twisting, hating.
Never, thats when.

People with mental disabilities are who we should be getting our mentoring and guidance from especially illness like down syndrome. People with down syndrome just keep on loving and smiling, sure they can get grumpy but the grumpiness never turns into a grudge or a prolonged hatred. It lasts for a very short amount of time. There is always love. You could do something to upset someone and 20 seconds later they hug you and embrace you. The past is forgotten.

Why is it that the people in this world who are the best examples of loving other people are the people we class as being “sick” and “disabled” and suffering from an “illness”.
Being able to always love is not an illness, its us who are ill. Not them.

Jesus tells us to love our neighbor, thats everyone!! Jesus loved everyone, why cant we?
