home again for what seems like 30 seconds.

Well i just got home from Tasmania. Poatina to be exact.
It has been a very long two weeks. I’m very very tired. The first week i had quite good sleeps, i was shating a house with 4 other guys but i had a room to myself. The second week i was in the hostel sharing a room with 2 other blokes. One of them snored a lot very loudly and constantly throughout the night. I averaged about 2 – 3 hours sleep each night. Soooo tired.
I have a cold now too.

tomorrow i’m off to blackstump, if i can find a way of getting there!!!!!!!
I have left it a bit late to organise i think.

havent got any food to take and not many clean clothes.

But for this one ngiht is damn good to be home.

pubs, muscles, a broken eye and a an early morning

Tongiht after hannah minding it was commy pub time.
Jen made her first visit to the pub..yay jenny.
I have found my match when it comes to arm wrestles. Its jem. I’m a very weak boy, infact if i was a girl i’d still be weak. Anyhoo no need to arm restle a boy cause its a sure bet that i’ll loose. But girls i have a chance. Tonight i beat jem. But man my arm is sore. we went for ages.
I’m not sure if its embarrising or if its a triumph.
After pub tom and i drove home and hid in the otto bins outside our house cause helen, rach liz and jem where coming pick stuff up. We scared them.
Then we where playing with hannah toys and i said helen and threw a plastic thing at her to catch. the problem was i dont think she heard me say “helen” so it smacked her smack in the eye ball.
Sorry helen…..
Now onto the early morning. I”m setting my alarm for 5am. should be ok. catching the 6:17 train to central. Hopefuly get to the airport at 7:15am.

Going to tassie for two weeks you see. for one week of training then the second week is international conference.

I”m such a jet setter.
this trip to tasmania will be my 15th and 16th flights for the year.

the problem with going to Poatina in tassie is that i wont get to blog much. sorry.

anyway peace out!

I do have feelings

In the last few weeks i think i have felt confused, excited, tired, weary, bler, worried, hungry, muddled, strong, loved, self concious, shy, bold, naughty, responsible, scared, robust, disliked, un-noticed, creative. . Quite a mixed bag really, good bad and inbetween.

top of the rank

you gotta work really hard to keep yourselt near the top of blogfeed these days. its such a competative market.

i need to blog more interesting things i think

A snail can sleep for three years.

Tongiht on letterman…..

As of today my new hobby is trying to be a celebrity.

its not my mission in life, just a hobby, a side dish

fame

I sometimes wish i was a bit of a celebrity.

I’m not sure why, i just think it would be fun. I think i’d make a good celebrity.

Finally

Thanks to the brilliance of ryan i got to play some frisbee tonight. We played in the park out the back of the church, me ryan, anmol and chris.

i love frisbee.

I was in really bad form.

how un howie

Its sunday and i’m sitting in the office slowly working through 5 weeks of missed assigmnets and journal entires.

its ok i had a sabbath yesterday

dinner and terror

Tonight i went out to dinner with peoples from st Stephens.
We went to a Japanese restaurant in crows nest where they throw the food at you. Luckily i ordered something off the menu that doesn’t get thrown at you. I felt a bit uncomfortable especially when they started throwing food. I’m not the most co ordinated person and not feeling all that socially robust so i didn’t want them to throw food at me.

But the travesty i want to talk about is what occurred with the drinks.

I ordered a coke and the nice waiter man left and came back with a tray full of drinks he then handed out the drinks to all the people. But not mine! Now thats ok maybe he just forgot mine or couldn’t fit them all on the table.
Eventually he came back with one coke on a tray, he handed it to me i said thank you. It was after he left and i had a sip that it all went to the dogs.
It was Diet Coke. What the hell!!!!!
I tell you thats how you kick a man when he’s down.

I’m telling you its all part of some terrorist plot to take down our nation. There is a band of terrorists attacking us from the inside, but they are sneaky and cunning.

Oh be warned people, It all starts with switching coke for diet coke, but then who knows whats next, coke for Pepsi maybe.
Video shops will start only stocking VHS copies of movies.
Clip art will start appearing in graffiti on the pavement.

Terror is not on our doorsteps people, its eating us from the inside.

Switching coke for diet coke is serious business.

People we need to be alert, we need to be ready.

Terrorism is real.

Very real.

Apart from that is was a fun night, after dinner we went to Gloria jeans for some chit chat.
Then it was home time.

mmmm krispy kreme

Krispy kreme count for the day.

Another damn fine album

I pulled this little ripper out of the vault today.

Its funny how over the years its still such a good album.

The Finn Brothers

I bought the new finn brothers Album today. I think its the best option. I want to go to their concert but the tickets are $74 andni can’t afford that. I love Neil finn he’s the bomb. Tim Finn is good too.

Its a very nice album, about half way through it at the moment.

nice harmonies.

The Terminal

Well I went and saw “the terminal” with jem tonight.

I have to say a mighty fine film.

I would even stand up and make the call that its the best film i have seen so far this year…..yeah i know thats a big call.

Normally in Tom Hanks films he gets a bit tedious buy about the 30 minute mark. But not in this film, sure he may not be the worlds best actor but hes pretty good in this.

Tom plays a man who is trapped in New York airport after his passport is revoked due to a military coo in his home nation. He is not allowed to leave the airport until his country is recognized by the US.

You are pretty much always guaranteed a good film when Stephen Spielberg is the director.

Its funny and sly and quite initiatives in terms of storyline and concept. It looks good, there is no tricky shots its all made by the story and the relationship and closeness you feel to Tom Hanks’ character.

A downside to the film would probably be the insane amount of product placement.

But overall i give it a big 6 out of 7

100 and not out

tonight i went and saw “the terminal”

it is the 100th film i have seen since i started keeping my tickets. And my oldest ticket is from November 18 2000 when i saw “Billy Elliot”

so in just under 4 years that is 100 films.

I just looked at all my tickets and added colated all the individual ticket prices into a spreadsheet.

the total money spent on my movies in the last 4 years is $1,118.70

fortunatly there where 2 free films in there and i know friends have bought my tickects a few times.

but still not bad.

pathetic

I have only seen 18 films at the cinema so far this year.

last year i saw 45 all up.
