Celebrating 9 years of poor spilling and no good grammar

Two results fomr my two medical experiences today.

The first is my experiment of covering up my right eye to see how long I can last just using my dodgy left eye.
The result: 40mins
After 40 mins my head was hurting a lot, I had no peripheral vision, I couldn’t read anything up close or far away and my balance and depth perception was all off so I ran into a lot of stuff walking to work.

The second was I went to the gastroenterologist today and here is the low down

I have to get a camera up my bum and a camera down my throat, all on the same day. And also a blood test this week and maybe a CT scan.

Camera procedures will be in late April early may probably.

So filming can begin on “passage of discovery”, what started out being a one camera shoot has turned into a 2 camera shoot after today’s production meeting.

First production meeting

Today at 3pm i have the first ever production meeting with my camera man for “passage of discovery”. I have to take in my story boards (Ultrasound images of my gut). And hopefuly we can set a date to begin filming.

I think everyone who i have talked to who saw this fim have said “its good but not amazing”
I followed suit. It had its moments that made me laugh and had me entertained but all in all it wasnt an amazingly brilliant film.
Will smith does well, although hes a pretty smooth actor in my view and just has a good screen pressence. Story quite predicatable the whole way through. But you know it was not hard to watch and a good film to just chill.
Probably the sort of film that is better watched in a full cinema, there where about 6 people in the cinema today.

I love that girl.
Today was such a fun day, we both had the day off work. (thanks steve). so off to Rhodes shopping centre we went. Its a brand new shopping centre with an ikea. so much fun first we had lunch in their foodcourt. then off to ikea. So big, so fun, so so big, so so much fun.
THen after much fun making a shopping list in ikea and decorating a house we went to macquarie centre to see a movie.

We saw “Hitch”

Then we got pizza in hornsby and went to the office for a meeting. that was fun too. But the fun didnt stop there. After the meeting we went and got ice cream and went and sat in a park.

the guy with the eye

I think my eyes are about to fall out of my head.
The last couple of weeks they have been so sore, and it wont seem to go away. I think its partly due to over tiredness but also just due to the dodgyness that is my eyes.

I was reading through the last visal assesment i had from the Royal Blind Society. reading through it i noticed that if my left eye is covered up my visial accuity doeswnt change at all. I know i dont really use my left eye all that much but i thought it does do a bit.
If you are reading this and donlt know me, i have dodgy eyes.

Anyway i thought it a perfect time to do some experiemnts on my eyes and brain. i mean they are dodgy eyes anyway so what more damage can i do.

So here is my experiemt to be carried out this tuesday.

I am going to cover my right eye for an entire day and just use my left eye to function. Its gonna be tough i reckon cause my left eye isnt all that helpful. I think my brain will explode by midday.

anyway i’ll blog the progress.

Its all planned

My Wedding day.

11:34am Wake up, check emails,blog, shower, get dressed.
12:45pm Walk to Westfield for lunch in the foodcourt with whoever wants to come
2:15pm walk across to the church.
2:30pm Service begins
3:15pm Service ends
3:20pm blog
3:30pm Go back to Westfield (this time with wife) for photos.
4:30pm Go home for an afternoon nap, check emails.
6:00pm Go to reception
6:30pm Speeches
7:00pm blog
8:30pm Leave reception (with wife)
8:35pm Get into car and drive to F1 $49 hotel. On the way stop at Video Ezy to pick up a DVD.
9:30pm Blog

Next Day

Midday Wake up, check emails, blog, shower, get dressed. Go back to westfield to return the presents i didnt want or like.
