I love it when the flight to or from Tasmania inst a direct flight. The good thing about flying with Virgin blue to Launceston is that you some times end up having to get a connecting flight in Melbourne. Meaning two play trips so more take offs and more landings.
We had a direct flight down but a connecting Melbourne flight on the way home.
I love airports and flying and all that. In the car on the way home from the airport jenny and I were working out how many planes each of us had been on in our lives.
I’m at 45
then we worked out how many countries we have been too (we included stops where you don’t leave the airport). I have been to 13 Including Australia.
twas really good to see joshy graduate from his course, been a big 6 months for him so it was a privilege to be able to go down and support him.
just watched the live 8 program that channel 9 put together. It was good to see bits of the concerts around the world. But a little too much Richard Wilkins for my liking.
Be good to watch more, I’m sure foxtel will be playing often over the next few years

and for all those dying to know how many planes/countries for me… planes is about 36. i can’t remember the connecting flights from when i was 4 and went to the netherlands. countries is 17. and all of them i’ve been out of the airport and there for at least a day.

Paul Mcartney was good though. Most of bands sound really dodgy live.
