David and I just saw the oyster farmer.

I know a lot of people say that Australian films are dodgy and they have nothing on Hollywood. But I thinks its just that we have been bombarded by Hollywood and they have explosions and famous actors but really most of the films that Hollywood pump out are just remakes of old films or films that are identical to each other but they give them new names and have different actors.
I think we should support Australian films, I mean it seems they need the support just watching the intro to and Australian film and you see that it has been funded by about 6 film companies.

On to the film itself.
I thought it was a great little film, and it was really fun too see all these places that I know so well up there on the screen. Most of the film was filmed around brooklyn and mooney mooney. A good story that didn’t really go anywhere but that was nice. Some good lines and great characters, I felt like I was there on the waters edge of the hawksberry hanging out with these rough yocals.
There was some continuity issues regardi9ng cityrail trains but I’ll let them pass. The average punter isn’t going to notice the difference in carriage types in different shots and the number of carriages and stuff. A few other little

I would like to give this film 6 / 7

But unfortunately the makes of this film chucked in an un needed quite graphic sex scene.

So I’m bringing it down to 4.5 / 7

I thought the cityrail continuity problems may have been that the trains seemed to be fairly regular in the film. Everytime there was an opportunity to see a train in the background there was one. And well that just isn’t realistic is it?

It wasnt that so much it was more that the train that they caught went from being a 8 carrige train in onw shot to being a 4 carrige train in the next. And that the scenery out the window when they filmed inside the train didnt follow the route of the train. it shopped and changed.
