factory of fun
September 9, 2005 3:46 pm popcorn and choc topsLast night Jenny and I saw “Charlie and the chocolate factory.”
It was a fantastic film. I don’t know why the cinema was so empty everyone should be sitting in there watching it.
Johnny Depp was fantabulous, awesome. Tom reckons its better than the original “Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory” but I don’t think its better, I think they are very different films. Even though they share the same story.
It was a fun film, a very bright looking film with songs and dancing and awesome costumes, but at the same time it was a bit dark and sinister.
I think Jhonny Depp was a better wonka then gene wilder but the umpa lumpas were not the best in this film because there where CG of one man.
I recommend it to everyone and give it 5.5 / 7

Its the best ever! man it was twisted. Gets more ‘PG’ the more you see it but

i think willy wonka sucked!! maybe it was coz i saw it after the new one on the same day. but i dont like movies where they break out into song about nothing neway….

oh i love films where they break into song…
it was different to the first one i think the original is fantastic.
