sea the sculptures

10:26 pm The Bomb!, general chit chat

I know it probably looks like I never work. But its not true I work most days, I have just had some days off up my sleeve so jenny and I have been taking them together.

Today was another one of those days. We went to see the ‘sculptures by the sea” at bondi.

It was cool about 100 sculptures spread from bondi to Tamarama beach all along the headland.

But to start the day we took advantage of the cross city tunnel being free.

All the bins at Bronte beach for some reason were all lined up. But then when we came back to the car after our day they were all gone.

there was all sorts of weird and wonderful sculptures, some massive some tiny. some crap some really cool. This is a little comby van made out of mosaic.

some thing that spun around in wind symbolising something deep and meaningful, you know how artists do that.

this was my second favourite piece. A giant wave made out of scaffolding. It was massive. I love scaffolding.

a closer look at the scaffolding.

And this baby. My favourite piece of the day. A nice swimming pool

how cool is it the pool! Its in a skip bin

and one more photo that I have to blog. Not because I want to embarrass, Jenny but because it’s the 1,000th photo taken on my digital camera.

I love your blog. The 100 sculptures look fantastic and I agree the wave and swimming pool are awesome.

Where did you get those mini shopping trolleys? I’ve got to have some of those.

Adding you to my favourites and I’ll put a link from my blog too.

PS I’m the father of a friend of a friend of yours

    Take care
    Marcus

See I told you you’d work it out. How much were the trolleys? If I send you some money can you get me a couple?
