reading is the bomb

today after a long day of flying, shopping eating and sitting jenny and i went to see a move at Rhodes Shopping Centre.

I have to say that the Reading cinema complex at rhodes is the absolute bomb. the cinema was comfy and massive and the screen was huge.
And best of all i could sit where ever i damn well wanted.

we saw ‘fun with dick and Jane’

as the title suggests it was fun, and it ws with dick and jane now that i think of it, so this film really lived up to its name.
THe story was a bit weak and as usual jim carey overacted to the point that made me cringe. but on the flip side he was funny in parts and it all ended happily. a good film to escape the heat from and spend an hour or so relaxing.

2 shoes for dancing

i like new shoes and every yeare at this time my mummy gives me money for new shoes.

there wasnt much of a range in Armidale but i got some today from hornsby westfield, i like them they are green and white and black.

infact this is my nee shoes.

although mine have green laces aswell.

the country music capital

today jenny and i took my parent car for a trip to tamworth, the country music capital of australia. We thought the post christmas sales may have a litttle more variety in tamowrth but we were mistaken, more shops but less choice of quality products or the products we were looking for.

so tomorrow we will hit the town in armidale again.

we drove through a damn heavy storm though. kind of fun, kind of scary. but good old jenny kepts us safe with her driving.

2 more sleeps

Goodbye Kerry Packer

At least now the helicopter pilot can get his kidney back!

Armidale has broadband!!!!!!!!!

Well today jenny and i stumbled across one of armidales best kept secrets.

the maccas has wirless brodband, its a little expensive but in a town full of dial up i’m happy to spend my life savings on a good connection.

we tried to go to the post chrissy sales today but alas no much was open, infact the only things open were a few cafes and kmart and dick smith.
oh and koorong.

we spoent a bit of dosh but not too much, tomorrow the outback stampeed at the rural post christmas sales begins, i hear catle grids are the hot ticket this year.

One event to rule them all

this new years eve there is only one place to be, unless of course you go somewhere ekse.

and that place is observitory hill in the city. Beautiful views and luscious green grass to lay our your picninc rug and enjoy the company of frineds and foes for sydneys party night.

some of you may feel that trecking into the city is too much but belive me its worth it, the fireworks oh how good the fireworks are.

come, bring frineds, bring foes bring family, come and go whenever you want.

and you never know a few celebrities from podcasting with howie and tom may even be there.

email me if you want more details to work out times and stuff.

rotund

i feel quite rotund today after 2 days of christmas lunch’s and dinners.

Jenny and i are flying up to Armidale today to do christmas with my olds for a few days. I like flying to armidale becasue it only takes an hour and the plane is so small and fun.

anyway, be good and i’ll be back in a few days.

howie’s christmas message

A picture paints a thousand words.

merry christmas.

24 hour shopping is such a good idea

the only problem with tom and i adventuring off to bondi at 3am from our hotel room is that we didnt!
The alarm went off at 2:36am and we both woke up but then both fell asleep alsmost straight away, we woke up a few more times then through a mumbled half asleep conversation we decided sleep was more fun.

now its morning and i have an hour or so to fill in so i might go for a swim or something.

even though we didnt make it to bondi this has beeen a most enjoyable experience, i like 5 star hotels.

star city – the way life was meant to be

here i am sitting in room 544 at the star city 5 star hotel.

I know what you are thinking and no i did not elope with jenny. I’m actually wating here in my room for tom to turn up. we are stayin the night here so we can go to bondi junction westfield at 3am. its open 24 hours today you see.

so late last night tom and i logged on to wotif.com and found ourselves a room in a 5 star hotel.

what fun.

better be quick

After a drought of no one entering competitions on the podcast its now pouring down with excitment. You better get in quick if you want to have lunch with howie and tom in the foodcourt.

Unnofficial response from Greater Union re: allocated seating

I just had a comment left on my blog from an employee of Greater Union and here is what they had to say aboout allocated seating. ( i am yet to recieve an official response to my letter to Greater Union)

man, you ignorant people really tick me off.. i work at GU Hornsby and allocated seating, although kinda gay at first, is the best thing ever.. there’s no more waiting 4 hours in a queue for a blockbuster film, we can fill a cinema to nearly 100% capacity as opposed to the previous 75% and you can pick your own damn seat if you can be bothered to take a minute out of your internet-centred “life” for like a dollar extra and you can skip the queue when you pick up your tickets..

next time you go, go with an open mind, pretend you dont know any other way, pick your own seat and have a good time – its here to stay to please get used to it

the ratings season isnt really over

getting in engaged is good. I have had a lot of visitors to my blog the last 2 days. I’ll have to lookinto getting engaged again when i’m having another visitor slump.

exclusive rights.

these days the media seem to go crazy when it come to celebrity weddings. So just so photos I don’t like and dodgy articles don’t get written I have sold the story rights of my engagement to ‘podcasting with hoiwe and tom” .
So for the full story including interviews with me on the morning of asking jennys parents and all the details stay tuned for the next instalment of ‘Podcasting with Howie and Tom’.hitting the airwaves in the next day or two.

I tell you what though my stomach is sure happy that today and yesterday are over.
