dogs and legends
May 10, 2006 4:12 pm general chit chatI have been such a bag blogger lately.
And today is not a day i really feel like blogging either. It seems that smartyhost in all their wisdom have broken my blog and i have lost a lot of images and other stuff. They sent me an email on monday saying that they were upgrading their hosting service and that they where going to change me over to the optus datacentre place which would mean i get a faster and better service that is more reliable. My site is supposed to load 10 times faster and have increased security.
So because of the changes they made i had to spend the morning updating all my email accounts because they now all have new usernames and passwords and same for my ftp logins and admin logins.
My blog was down all morning so i contacted smartyhost and told them my site was down. a few hours later they got back to me and said it was all fixed now. but its not, its gone crazy, it seems to be some sort of backup of my blog that they have put up. so it doesn’t have any of the stuff that i have done in the last week or so, like the new banner, new headlines or even a post i made today didn’t appear.
DOGS!
In other news i was following the Beaconsfiled mining story really closely. I found myself reading about it every opportunity i had on the web, i watched news reports on all different networks thourghout the last week. I even had a web-cam image on my desktop for the last few days that refreshed every 15 second. it was a shot of the front of the mine from the little media village.
I was really happy when they got out and went and clocked off. It was just a real feel good story and yay for then tasmanian miners who got them out. and yeah it is sad that one of them died but how cool is it that 2 blokes stuck in a little cage 1km underground for 2 weeks got out alive.

Am glad to hear it the host not you, coz I was starting to read more comments on my blog from you than you had written on your own blog. Now I need to lie down, that sentence was confusing!
