Dear SBS,

A lot of your programming is foreign content, which means that subtitles are required for us uncultured aussies who only speak one language.
One of the great things about subtitles programmins is that you dont need to have it turned up loud to hear what is going on becasue you wont understand it anyway.
Well i was wondering if you could employ some foreign commentators for the world cup broadcast, thus resulting in the need for subtitles. Which would then mean that television sets across this nation could be turned down during the football games.
Becasue lets face it, the games are being shown live, but live is at an a obserdly ungodly hour of the morning and it disturbs my beauty sleep hearing the game so loud in the next room.
I”m sure a large number of Australians would be grateful.

thankyou

Howie (one of the people who isnt really excited at all by soccer)
