The government seems to have decided that global warming is an issue. In the past it has seemed that australia just didnt really give a damn. But now its serious becasue if global warming is really making the sea rise that is going to have a huge impact on our neighbours. poor old naru might dissapear and where will all these people with no homes come. Oh no! they might try and come to australia. we cant have that, not more imigrants, we dont have the room. If the sea rises too much we could have millions of people coming to us needing residency just becasue they have wet feet. No we must put a stop to this, maybe it is time to reconsider australias approach to the destruction of the ozone layer.
stupid governemt only cares about the sea rising and millions of people being displaced becasue it will mean a huge jump in the numbers of people wanting to live in the lucky country.
sometimes i get to the stage where i think even mick gallaghers ‘no gst party’ could run this country better.

today i filled out an application form to be a volunteer on the 3801 steam train

I have a bit of a cold at the moment. When i was a little howie my mummy used to rub vicks vapour rub on my chest when i went to bed. I used to really like it, the smell the way it makes you breath good and how its a bit hot.
Well the last few nights i have been rubbing vicks vapour rub on my chest as i go to bed, and boy oh boy its just as good as it was when i was a little howie.
I think i could convince myself that i always have a cold just so i could justify using vicks vapour rub every night

Yesterday was steam train day. And oh how much I love steam train days.
Myself, jenny, joshy and sam all booked tickets on this baby a few months ago and finally the day had come. We where going on my favourite stream train the 3801.

We had to get up damn early and I had such a Bad sleep the ngiht before that getting up early was not a pleasant experience but I did it. We went down to central station to get on the train there. I love steam trains, it pulled in to central with its old school wooden carriages, and the smell of the smoke and the heat of the engine.
And this was no pansy steam train day we got to go all the way to Newcastle and back.

New castle isn’t the most exciting place in the world on a sleep Sunday afternoon, after ,much walking we eventually go to a supermarket. And then back to the waters edge for a picnic lunch. On the way we climbed this tower it was a long spiral staircase and my legs sure are reliving the climb today.

last night i had a really bad and short sleep. i couldnt get to sleep for about 3.5 hours. i tried counting sheep but it was just too many sheep it didnt make me fall asleep just frustrated.

tonight sam and i had an adventure. our original plan was to roll a scategories dice and what ever letter it landed on we had to catch a train to a station starting with that letter and find some dinner.

Well we didnt manage to track down a scategories dice during the week so we just picked a station at random and that station was Sydenham.

It was fun we gota train from hornsby to central then changed trains to get to sydenham. There wasn’t a lot of life in sydenham and we both wanted pizza, Hawaiian pizza infact. we walked past a little pizza shop just outside the station but decided to walk further. we walked and walked and walked, we turned a few corners and walked and walked. about an hour later we stopped it a little petrol station and asked if the man knew where a pizza shop was. He told us just down the road.
we ended up at the pizza sho we walked past outside the station, without even realising we had done a giant loop.
silly boys.
we got pizza from this fun little shop and ate it outside while our boy bits froze off!
and then we trained it back.

and probably only about 6 weeks until we can start moving stuff into our home.
well today i began going through my stuff and throwing stuff out and packing some stuff into boxes.

Well i guess a victory lap around the streets with my shirt over my head is in order.
Yay for australia winning their soccer match last night against Japan.

Cant say i enjoy watching soccer, and so becasue i dont really enjoy it i didnt watch it.

But that doesnt mean i dont support the aussies and think its great they are doing so well. Yoyu dont have to watch a sport to support your country when it is representing you in that sport. I dont watch lawn bowls but i’m right there behind the aussies all the way! Go Beryl !!!! Go Mavis !!!!!!

Yesterday was janes birthday and today is debbies. so happy birthday ladies.

in other exciting new i managed to get dics 5 + 6 of Las Vegas series 2. S i’ll be finnished the series by the end of the week. then i will be left with a sense of fulfilment but also a giant void, what tv series am i going to get hooked on now.

It could be a long time until i can finish watching series 2 of las vegas.
video ezy hornsby has the 2 remaining discs which i want to hire but they are hired out by some other customer at the moment.
the things is that this customer is allowed to have the dvd’s for as long as they like with no late fees. infact they are allowed to have 4 dvds at home at any one time and not have to return them for as long as they like.
It costs $29.95 a month to be part of this video ezy club thing. which means the average customer like me is dogged if the shop only has 1 copy of mos dvd’s.

It was funny at the wedding on the weekend, i was sitting their during the ceremony just watching prceedings. Not thinking at all about my own wedding coming up.
But it seemed that every single other person at the wedding was aware of it. THere was no way i could count the amount of times people came up to me and said “this is going to be you in a few months”.

and its true it is only a few months, infact its 95 days.

I have a feeling that ryan is procrastinatin from doing uni work atr the moment.

well thursday jenny and i went off to armidale to visit my mummy and daddy, then yesterday was jenny’s cousins wedding in coffs harbour.
