Tell me which caves you went to and what they were like. I went through (in a pretty low-key way) some river caves out that way ages ago, but can’t remember exactly where.

Borenore Caves, there seems to be a few caves there, there is the old stock standard big one that you walk in look around for 2 minutes then walk out. we did one that takes about 30 mins to go through, bits of climbing and stuff through it. although with 20 young people at a time it took about an hour to get through, and the cave was a 40 minute walk from the car park. but its real caven no walkways or lights or guides just a bunch of caves in the middle of nowhere. you can probably get maps of them somewhere.
