I know that is a pretty hard hitting statement, but how often do youy go past a church that has one of those billboards out the front with some word play that is somehow supposed to make you explore your faith and attend church. Often they make me cringe and i feel embarrased on behalf of the church displaying it and more so behalf of the person who came up with the idea.

I dont really understand why christian advertising is so bad, a company that is selling washing detergent has more pulling power with people than a christians who are trying to pitch Jesus and eternal life. All we come up with is puns on a tacky billboard.

But today there was one that i actually quite liked, it said “beat the christmas rush, come to church this sunday”
