at least it is the last day of the month

thanks to Tom’s van and his extremely well toned masculine body we now have a 6 foot long fish tank in our dining room. sometime in the next few days it will become the new home for our lovely little turtles.

its a damn big tank!

holds over 300 litres of water (we are only filling it a bit above half anyway.)

Jenny isnt a big fan of its placement but there is no where else to put it and no chance we could move it now, not even with tom’s muscles.

this week in my lunch box each day i get little packets of tiny teddys…..oh yeah!

My little man, ham, seems to be quite ill and i feel a bit useless i cant help him settle down and be the little happy turtle that he was just 2 days ago.

We have seeked advice from several different sources all with different opinions of what we should do or not do or change or something.

Today we made some significant purchases to change the living environment for the boys in the hope it will give them more space and more places to explore and also hide. Ham really isnt coping well at the moment, hes really scared and on the edge all the time and not heaps keen to have dinner.

Dear Lord

Please help little Ham, be with him and restore him to health. Help us to look after the boys well.

Little Ham has gone crazy, there is something that is really freaking him out and we cant work out what it is. Hes going nuts, swimming really fast and tryiong to get away from something.

We haven’t moved anything in the tank or changed their diet or anything, its weird.

Australia Day – Done

Sunday night was jemm bye bye dinner

monday night sam and josh over for dinner

tuesday night was tom over for dinner

tonight we went to dinner at zoe’s with tom and sam

tomorrow is dinner at the inlaws

friday is the patriotic bbq with numerous visitors

saturday is official “no people day”

Hello all my Scottish relatives

F3 is all open, Pacific Highway is all open and trains are operating north only.

Hornsby is about to be in complete gidlock, alread the traffic is banked up along george street. Both the F3 and Pacific highway are closed in both fdirections between Asquith and Berowra.  The fire at Mt Kuring-gai has flarred up a bit it seems and rumours of a new fire in Turramurra.

Yesterday I went off on an adventrue by myself. Bought a daytripper and headed into the city to take some photos. Its one of my favourite things to do to spend the day by myself  taking photos in the city.

It was a lovely hot sunny day too.

I wandere around cirqualer quay for a bit, the decided to go on a ferry, oh i like ferries.

After doing a big loop around the harbour on the ferry i decided to go on the manly ferry. I got on and went upstaird to the outside bit at the front of the ferry and sat in the sun taking in the signhts of the harbour. I didnt get off at manly i just went to the outside bit at the other end of the ferry so i would be at the front heading back.

THEN about 3/4 of the way back to the quay we where heading strang towards this little sailing boat with 2 men on it, getting closer and closer. The fog horn came on and stayed on (man that thing is loud). Anyway it seemded the men on the sailing bot where trying ever so hard to get out of the way but for some reason it wsant working. The ferry sloweed right down and we just missed hittim\ng them head on, instead the just sort of scraped down the side of the ferry. no onw was hurt and no damage, but ever so interesting.

my camera was packed away in my bag so i didnt get any photos of it i was too busy watching.

that was fun, lots of sitting around chatting to peoples. Tom wasnt home so Ryan and i rearanged his bedroom a little and put his bed in the bath.

Bit weird that jem is off overseas for a year, i dont really see her much these days and i sure wont see her whilst she is in mexico, bye bye jem, be good, stay safe, dont vomit.

People often say that mondays suck casue you have to go back to work, the weekend is gone. Its true they suck! But for me i think fridays suck even more, the weekend is so close you can almost not go to work. Friday is just a tease so close yet so far away. It always seems like the longest day too.

Well today i have the solution to make fridays more bearable.

Wag work and go to th beach!

Worked well today, i highly recomend it, although if you go make sure you put sun cream on the top of your right arm. stupid burn.
