wahoooooooooooooooooo

finally after months and months drowning in a deep emotional pool of dispair, I can finally find out what happens in series 3 of ‘Las Vegas’.

I finished series 1 and 2 ages ago and no video shops seemed to care about getting series 3 on dvd. In the shops its $64 so i’m not going to buy it.

BLockbuster Pennant Hills has come to the rescue, and now i’ve watched 8 episodes in the last 2 days. 16 episodes to go!

oh deary me its late!

when you become a married man going to bed at 11pm is a late night and you worry if you will get enough sleep.

when you are a bachelor going to bed at 2am is a late night, but the only thing you worry about is “if i go to bed now what will i miss on TV”

sweet tunes with sweet visuals

tonight was the night of the music DVD, what a fine concept and use of technology.

First up for the evening was Ben Folds wiht the West Australian Orchestra. A nice way to being the evening, the sound of strings underneath the quirky keys, the mixture of electric guitar and a harp. All in a relaxing setting in a park.

Then to take us home U2 with Vertigo live from Chicago. Eye candy at its finest, sweet tunes with edge leading the way. Bono, Adam, Larry.

Oh the serenity.

Tonight we say ‘hot Fuzz’

Having seen and quite enjoyed ‘Shawn of the dead’ I kind of new what to expect, over the top scenes involving gore and blood.

It had them mixed with some black comedy and even a bit of slpastick.

It got better as it went along i feel, the first half was a bit full but once people started dying it got more interesting.

I’ll give it 4 / 7

if the election rested on my vote i know who would win

I voted yesterday using a postal vote.

It was fun getting the massive sheet in the mail.

a fun day for howie and wife pluse 200,000 others

Best seats in the house!

tonight wife and i went to see Ross noble at the Enmore theatre.

He is a very very funny man, what a tops show. but it wasnt just the show that was funny, our pre booked seats where quite amusing too. Jenny booked the tickets through ticketek and figured that the show must be almost sold out because of the seats we got. But when we turned up, we where alone in a sea of chairs at the back of the theatre.

the red circle shows our seats, the red lines show all the empty seats around us.

day orf

today was day off day casue we worked over the weekend!

the joys of doing nothing…….

I have been exploring the tangled web of myspace the last 2 nights. (its ok i’m not about to go get one i was just reading other peoples)

Anyway i descoverd many many people i know have myspcaes, i found all these people from high school, some who i had forgotten about, others who i knew kind of well. turns out most of the people from my grade now seem to be living in america or the UK, it was quite interesting, one girl from our grade has crossed the fence and come out of the closet. alla bit weird.

then i found heaps of work people have myspaces, I remember when work found out i had a blog they watched it like a hawk to see what i wsa saying, some powers tried to have blogging banned, others quite enjoyed it. But it was decided it was a good idea if workers with blogs didnt talk in depth ab out work, which kind of makes sense, i guess to eleiminate the risk of defamation.

Its an interesting topic, freedom of speech and all that, i tried to fight for a while then just gave up and decided to avoid conflict i would not talk about work, even though they cant really stop me.

i think its way harder to police than a few years ago, casue now the whole world has a myspace page. copyright, defamation, freedom of speech its all getting quite stretched with the internet and the massive growth of myspace.

glad i’m not a company, casue there is no way of controling waht your workers write in their spare time.
