the hand wash

10:20 am general chit chat

hand washing is a strange thing.

Yougo to the toilet then turn the tap on with your unclean hands, wash them with soap and water. Then you put your clean hand onto the tap that you just touched before with your dirtry hand to turn it off.

i know! and then if it’s a public toilet, you open the door touching the handle thousands of other people have touched, with the safe bet that not all hands were clean.

I agree. In Public toilets I leave my hands fairly wet to turn the tap off. I then rub them together a bit to continue the washing. After that I dry them with the paper towel and use that same paper towel in my hand to open the door. I then throw the paper towel in a bin if there is one… an if not, on the floor.

Public toilet doors and taps are the filhiest germ infested places on the planet.
