Old man river, the band that sucks
June 12, 2007 10:45 pm general chit chatThis is one weird band. they keek popping up on TV playing this one song called ‘La’. the song is repetative and played using what sounds like one chord. The lyrics are amazing. Its like a 6 year old writting a song to perform at a scouts talent quest fundraiser.

I’ve got that album. I quite like it. Not all his songs are so silly. He’s quality Old Man River.

I have his free song from iTunes, I think it’s called Sunshine. Sounds pretty old skool, but I like it. Haven’t heard this one yet tho

I love this song! the “crazy animal noises” are the sounds of animals when the “sun’s coming up in the sky” as in the early morning when everyone is just waking up…duh. and i think the the lyrics are good because they’re so simple, it kind of brings me back to reality, the fact that a song with such simple lyrics is still enjoyable to listen too, you don’t need people shouting and screaming and special effects to make a good song.
