Today wife and I went to the XXXX Gold Beach Cricket. I bought tickets for jenny’s christmas present.

It was cool. Last year we watched it on tv and really enjoyed it.

The first game was Australia v England, which Australia won by by a whisker.

Here is my main man Mark Waugh in fine form!

the second game and region al final from the 2 days of games in Sydney was Australia v New Zealand. The kiwis won by over 20 runs.

It was a fun day, we all got free bright yellow bucket hats, there was even a streaker who after a long chase by security guards was met on the sideline by some friendly police.

The  only thing that was a bit poopy was that when you watch it on tv all the players are mic’ed up and have ear-pieces in so you can hear the frivolity between players and the commentators interact with  them. Well at the game you cant hear what the players are saying. It was coming through the PA really faintly, but the ground MC was pretty good.
