I’m not sure if it because i’m old and have more nose hairs, or if it’s becasuse i’m old and dont care what people think. Or is it just becasue there is a much bigger build up, or need for nasal relief.

I have been getting caught picking my nose a lot more these days, but i cant work out if its becasue i’m picking more or is it just becasue I have been married 2 years now so my quirks are no longer quirks and now wife is finding them anoyances.

man oh man sometimes it feels good to have a scratch up there, or pick out a winning goober.

Do you pick?

Nose-picking seems to be a taboo topic. Wikipedia agrees, and provides these other interesting snippets:

    * The most common nose picking plan is to pick your nose with your index finger of your right hand.

    * A survey of 1000 people conducted in 1995, found that 2 people claimed to spend between 15 to 30 minutes and 1 to >2 hours a day picking their nose. (2 hours!!!)

    * It is possible for retrograde infections from the nasal area to spread to the brain … For this reason, the area from the corners of the mouth to the bridge of the nose is known as “the danger triangle of the face.” (Now, there’s a title for a book …)

On the upside, an Austrian doctor has claimed that nose-picking, combined with nasal mucus eating, may benefit the immune system. However, this claim has yet to be substantiated.

Given that the topic is taboo, the claim may well remain unsubstantiated due to a lack of research participants.

i think a finger wrapped in a tissue is better than a naked finger.

at least you are a pick and flick kind of person (which I’d prefer you weren’t in our home) than an eat it person.
