I really want to get hold oh Rev billy’s DVD
Yesterday I was at a work thing down south at stanwell tops. I got a lift to Sutherland station so I could train it home. I had 20 mins before there was a train so I went and got some hot chips and a buddy. Got the train, ate the chips, drank the buddy. By the time I got to central I needed to pee pretty bad, but there is no toilets inside the ticket gates. So I headed up to the country platforms so see if there was an express i could catch home. No express for 25 mins. Back to the all stations platforms there was a train in 10 minutes.
I stood on platform 16 with the pressure building up in my bladder wondering if I would make it home.
Eventually on the train the pain was intense, I was starting to sweat, my lower back was hurting and i was certain my bladder was going to internally combust. I realised making it all the way home was not an option. I was going to have get off the train and relive myself then find another train. But where do you get off? It was almost 8pm so most north shore stations are unmaned at that time so the dunnies would be locked. I figured Chatswood would be my safest bet. But it was so far away. One station away at Artarman i jumped off not being able to hold any longer. Then in a split second dash i got back on the train. the pain was intense. I made it to chatswood then had to endure what felt liked the worlds longest escelator ride down to the concourse. I could see the toilet doors. I made it, turned the handle but the door didnt open. My heart sank, my vlavles where about to release. Luckily the scond door opened. It was a seedy bathroom with rubish and toilet paper anywhere, but for me in that moment it was heaven. I relseased the wee. It never stopped coming.
all empty I headed back to the platform and only had to wait 3 mins for a train.
I’ve never needed to wee so band in my entire life.
In other news last night we wathced ‘be kind rewind’. It was a really great movie. you should hire it.
I’m here on the super sunny, super hot Gold Coast to do some stuff with work.
Schoolies really is a crazy place, there is no way in hell i would let a kid of mine come up here. young people haning off balconys everywhere, toolies everywhere all with bottles of beer in one hand and the hope of putting a young girl in the other. It really is quite a scary place.
Apart from schooies itself i’m having a good time with my QLD buddies and enjoying the sun that the gold coast always turns on.

Daniel Craig has done it again! Another awseom bond movie. I’m really enjoying this building of bond, how he becomes the man we all know and love. One thing that was missing was cool gizmos and gadgets.I think I said the same thing about Casino Royale, but at least casino royale had the defribulator in the glove box of the austin martin.
There was a lot more outdoor action in this bond and a lot less bedroom action. This is a good thing.

On Saturday it was Debie;s hens party thingy. I was evicted from my house so that it could be used as the wet weather alternative to the beach.
This seems kind of noraml, wifie wants to have a girly day so hubby goes off to do something else. Only I’m a bridesmate (a man bridesmaid) and i was not invited to the hens party. Ripped off.
So I headed into the city with my camera, the plan was to wander around taking snaps and filling in the 9 or so hours I had to kill until a work event in Newtown at 7pm.
I got to the city, did some wandering through paddys markets then had some Oporto brilliance for lunch. Then it was photo time so first stop hyde park and the cool travelator that connects through to the domain carpark. I’ve always wanted to take photos of that. I went down into the tunnel to get on the travelator and there was John and Hannah. I chatted to them for a bit then went photo taking on the travelator. The only problem was that as soon as I turned my camera on the battery light flashed. So I missed the first half of the travelator ride becasue I was digging in to my bag to find more camera batteries. Same thing they where dead too. Never fear I had one more set of batteries and yes you guessed it they where flat as well. Dumb batteries I charged them all 2 weeks ago, they used to last ages. So I got to take 6 photos. They arnt even good photos all the dogs are blury.
So now i was stumped still 6 or so hours until my work thing. I walked around a bit then decided to head hom for a nap and just come back to the city later.
That was a good choice although when i got home i couldn’t get to sleep. So I headed back to the city a little earlier than expected.
The work thing was pretty good although it did mean i got home after midnight and these days i normally go to bed at 10:30 so it felt like it was 4 am.
This weekend i’n off to the Gold Coast to hang out at the QLD schoolies with work and hopfuly provide some alternative entertainemet to sex drugs and more sex.. Jenny won’t let me have a seedy mo while i’m up there. Probably won’t be heaps of blogging so don’t miss me too much.
I really used to love hot weather. 40 Degree days where bliss.
Now that i’m fat anything over 15 degrees makes me sweat like a sumo wrestler in a plastic bag.
shame.
(I’ve packed on a bit over 20kg since jenny put a ring on my finger)
What a day today was.
Last night I went to bed and couldnt ge to sleep for over 3 hours. Then my sleep was patchy until 5am when I woke up needing to empty my bladder. More patchy sleep followed by some back door explosives then it was off to the city for a day of packing up the office to get ready for the renovations.
Made it the city feeling weak and hot. then spent hours upon hours moving boxes of crap, moving desks of crap and moving random pices of crap. There was a chicken burger lunch break which made things a litte better but then it was back to moving crap.
Later this afternoon we headed to central to look at a possible new office in a swanky ofice block. We all liked it and think its a winer so hopfuly i the next few months we can move in to air conditioned glory.
Then it was back to the current office for more moving of crap.
Followed bt beer with colleagues in a glebe pub. Then it wa home time, but oh no i had to go all the way to Parra-friggen- matta to the worlds hottest bar for sammy t’s birthday thingy. It wa so hot in there that i’m prety sure they didnt cook my shnizel in the kitchen they just whacked a frozen chicken breast on my plate and hovered in near my arm pit. It was cooked in seconds!
Twas good to celebrate sam and now it’s good to be home.
looking forward to sleep, no alarms and a slow saturday.
Last night wife and I went out to the flicks.
We arrived at the cinema at 6:10pm for our 6:20pm screening of ‘Traitor’.
The lady at the candy bar ripped our tickets and then we headed upstairs where the noob standing at the cinema entrance ripped our already ripped tickets in half. All i was left with was a stub of paper that told me the movie time, no title. Dumb!!!!!
Then the movie started 20 mins late, we had to sit there and watch the amazing slide presentation put together buy a greater union work experience kid who manged to use every font on the computer.

Once the movie began, it was really good. I didnt know anything about this movie but really liked it. It explored Islam and Christianity and how extremeists in both can justfy what they are doing is right and that they are the good guys.
It had some twists, some of them predictible others not so much.

My good old lappy is about to leave the nest and go to a new home. Its sad I ;ike lappy he has been a good computer to me. I almost owned all of it too.
Still need a name for my new one though.
Today after a productive and good meeting in the morning I decided to head into Glebe to do some work in the office and pick up some stuff.
I walked up to the station, just missed a train so had to catch and all stations train to the city. Got to North Sydney and realised i didnt have my keys so wouldnt be able to get into the office!!!!
got of at Wynyard went to maccas had some food and sent some emails. Now i’m training it back home.
I hope the office moves soon so its easier to get too. and that others come to the office too so when i forget my keys I can still get in.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! BAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now all he has to do is stop some wars, avoid a rescesion, rebuild international respect and get his daughters a puppy.
Dear America,
Please vote for Obama,
Thanks,
the rest of the world.

We have a new officeworks in Hornsby so today at lunchtime I went in for a look around. We went there on Sunday but Jenny gets bored in those sort of shops so i went back today for some fun.
I found heaps of cool things, i love pens and there is lots of pens.
But the coolest thing i saw was this. A Pocket projector.

It’s crazy, so small and so powerful. It will make mobile presentations an ease, I want and need one for doing presentations at school and things. or even on a train, you could do a presentation for the person next to you and just project on to the back of the man in front of you, thanks to his nice white business shirt.

you can see a review of it here
wow.
Life with a Macbook Pro is good. Although setting up a new computer takes a long time. I am very grateful for having a mobileme account becasue all my settings, passwords, email accounts and ical contents jut came straight onto this computer without much effort. But instialling things has taken a lot of effort. Final Cut took several hours to instiall, and there is 4 billion mac updates to download and office updates. Updates are dumb with a mobile broadband connection.
We are starting to become good buddies, I’m still learning a lot as i fiddle around. I’m really looking forward to diving into creative suite and making some fully sick graphics.
that ends my nerdy post.
