I’m sitting at my desk in the office while builders are doing stuff around the place. It’s noisy with nail guns and saws and all that going off.
Just then one of the builders came in and asked me to move away from my desk and pointed up. I looked up to see a man poking his head over the top of the wall holding a big piece of wood. So I stood up and moved away, then the man told me to grab my computer. So i did. It was then that he told me the man up the top of the ladder has a history of dropping things. I thought this was just some banter between the builders until the man on the ladder almost dropped the bit of wood and then asked for help becasue he was about to fall off the ladder.
Something tells me these blokes must have been cheap.
