This morning we where all up at a time that is not even mentionable.

We caught the train to the airport where we found out that due to heavy winds all flights with all airlines where delayed by at least 1 hour. So it was time for some sitting and a hash brown. Then jenny and Oscar disappeared into some special ‘wip out your boob’ cupboard and I watched planes.

Eventually our plane was ready so we folded up the pram and gave it to the lady at the gate and boarded the plane.

Oscar didnt seem to like the plane much, he let us know his feelings by screaming. The screaming continued all through the safety demo, taxi-ing and take off. Eventually he found peace sitting on my shoulders.

We landed in the sunny and warm Gold Coast and walked towards the beach and a lunch shop where we had lunch with our super cool QLD buddies.

It was awesome, hot weather mixed with burgers, coke and good friends. I love QLD.

Then after lunch it was a walk back to the airport and another 1 hour delayed plane. Oscar only cried a bit on this flight as we where coming in to Sydney, I think like me he wants to move to QLD and was sad to be back in Sydney town.

The train trip on the way home a bogan chick came and asked how old our boy was, I said 8 months. She said ‘cute’.

Now he is cute but i’m not sure why she said it as the pram was covered in a blanket with no sign of a baby underneath.

A super birthday present from wife and Oscar.
