Yesterday I spent my birthday monies on a jigsaw. Not a stupid puzzle but rather a super masculine power tool.

I have to make some big wooden display things for a work thing at parliament house in a few weeks and i figured the best would be to use a jigsaw to get the shapes i’m looking for.

Oh this is my Jigsaw

I have never used a jigsaw before in my whole entire life. So I thought it would be a good idea to practice on some scrap wood before I go buy the big sheets of ply for making the work thing.

Jenny drew me a triangle and a teddy bear.

The triangle was easy, I felt like a super handy husband.

The Teddy Bear put me back in my place, the place of ‘you should stick to making things on computers and leave the power tools up the real men”

So that’s my jigsawing done for the day, all in all I don’t think i did a terrible job seeing as i have never used a jigsaw before.

Now it’s time to go scratch myself before I replace the car engine, build a patio, install a new hot water system, have another scratch, sit down with my tool belt on and watch some footy.

Actually i’m going to re-install Mac OSX on jenny’s old computer.
