We just spent 2 days up in Newcastle for a wedding for a work buddy.
Often wedding sermons bore me a bit casue they are all smooshy but this one was cool, the dude even made jokes about incest.
The place we stayed was ok but nothing special, i guess that’s what you get when you look for super cheap on wotif.
Nothing says “classy” or “romantic” like sermon jokes about incest.
yeah it went down well which is good, it’s a pretty touchy topic to cover in a wedding sermon i feel.
once the pastor from my church did a big spiel about diamond g-string he saw on the interweb, during a wedding sermon it was bizzare
One of the elders at our church was preaching recently and he started talking about “this Paris Hilton video” that he’d been watching with one of the other guys from church.
Everyone started giggling, and he couldn’t figure out why for a few minutes.
