I blogged the other day about my MBP going in for repair.
I was at work and noticed that the J button was sticking up a bit, I tried to click it back in but it wouldn’t click so I tried again and again just in case i was some kind of uncoordinated noob.
After a while I thought i would stroll down to the mac centre near my office and see if they could get it back in. A couple of the guys tried and then noticed there was some tiny bit of plastic broken off under the button.
They said i best go book it into the service centre next door as the whole top case of the unibody would need replacing.
so this one broken key meant i had no computer for a few days.
And all of the below was replaced.
I’m not sure apple has thought through their new design in terms of resource wasted to fix tiny problem.
Anyway all covered under warranty.
