Dumb ways to die
I guess he’s cute.
In case you somehow missed the video Oscar and I made for Mother’s Day, here it is again.
The 4th video in our little series of father son productions, this one has a Mothers Day theme for 2012
pretty and stuff
Time-lapse NZ
Studio 22
Last night the lads and I went to see Andrew Denton’s new game show. It will be a good series and the episode we watched being taped was pretty damn Funny.

As Tom mentioned due to laminated signs we are not allowed to say what happens in the show but it’s a good one. I absolutely love watching television being made, the lights and cameras and the smell and feel of the studio, the headsets and curtains and staging and sets. It’s all awesome. It makes me miss the days when I studied TV production and had dreams of being a studio camera operator or something similar.
It also makes me wish I was funny and that I got to be a guest on panel shows and say silly things and maybe one day have my own late night show.
Last night as we watched the taping I even thought it would be an ace job to be the audience warm up guy.
I love television, not crap things like soap operas, big brother and the bolt report but cool things like Q&A, The Panel, Gruen, Chaser etc etc.
Maybe one day one or some or all of those dreams will come true but probably not.
I just want my…
The wife was out this morning so Oscar and I were talking about what we could do. I was was feeling pretty tired after staying out late with some lads.
I have wanted to make another video with Oscar for a while but whenever I ask he says “no I don’t want to”. But this morning he said yes!!!!!!
So this is it. Hope you enjoy.
Cover of a Cover.
Many of you will have seen this cover of ‘Somebody That I used to Know’
It is a pretty damn good cover…..well it was until this parody of the cover came out. Pure Gold!!!
Why I love youtube, but hate spoken word videos.
I’m getting pretty sick of people sending me or people filling my Facebook feed etc with the ‘Why I hate religion, but love Jesus’ video.
I’m not a fan of spoken word, and while this video is nicely shot and uses emotive colours and music the constant battle to make sentences rhyme drives me batty. I think I pretty much agree with content but it would be much less wanky if it didn’t all rhyme.
There is a nice quote from Ghandi “I like your Christ but I don’t like your Christians”.
I think i’m pretty similar.
Well now a Catholic priest and some video geeks have made a response video.
I can’t help but spend the whole time staring at the massive marble alter and over the top architecture in this video while he tries to justify religion.
Discuss.
1 ply comedy returns
I’m the new Rebecca Black
So I just discovered I’m a YouTube hit.
This Friday marks Jenny and my 5th wedding anniversary, so I was scrolling through old blog posts and found a link to a YouTube video of the kiss at our wedding. It was taken by our buddy Sam on his phone and uploaded to the interwebs. It seems that in the last 5 years there has been a lot of people watching this video expecting to find Howie D of the backstreet boys kissing his wife.
In fact 70,888 people have watched it.
Enjoy.
Like a garage sale only different
It’s no secret that me and wife love DVDs and that our collection is quite large.
We have a policy of only buying stuff that we think we will enjoy watching several times and if possible only buy it on sale.
But as we review our collection there are a few that we probably don’t need anymore.
So we would like to get rid of them (with some monies in return) – they are all in super condition and bought legally.
All you have to do is leave a comment stating which one(s) you want, then I’ll email you and we can sort out the $$$. We are not expecting top dollar but just a bit like you would in a second hand DVD sale.
$1, $2, $750 we don’t care, although if you don’t live near us please make your price at least enough to cover postage.
(please don’t be offended if we are getting rid of stuff you gave us)
