Kicking back watching the cricket with wife, ryan and keith. After a rivetting half hour of ‘the cricket show’ our stomachs began to rumble. It’s lunchtime.
Time for some boxing day tofu steaks.
ALL THE SUPERMARKETS ARE CLOSED, EVEN WESTFIELD!!!!!!!!
Its a travesty! You would think at least one supermarket in the area would be open. But non.

today was one of the best days ever!
Over the last week or so i have been feeling weaker and weaker! no energy to face the day.
Today i was energised. Today we found a Westfield!
Oh yeah, i had a craving for donuts since we got to WA and it seems that western australia is a pretty much donut free zone. but westie delivered with a donut king!
I feel so much better, i have had that big multinational hug that i have missed ever so much. Thanks for being there for me westfield.

going into Westfield is like returning to the womb.
The familiar sounds and comfortable lighting. I feel like laying on the floor of the food court and rolling into the foetal position.
Ok maybe that analogy is inst the best, but I do live Westfield in that this is gross but I love it kind of way.
Tom shouted me lunch in the foodcourt today we had butter chicken and cheese naan and a buddy of course. The foodcourt is a good place to sit and eat and talk. I think mostly because it has food and chairs.

Today there was no big adventure to the city no train or busses. But it was still fun. Holidays are drawing to a close which is defiantly sad. I think I could quite happily take another 3 months off work. Am I looking forward to going back ? Well yes and no, probably tending more towards the no side at the moment. But once I’m back that might change.
Although past few months I’ve been questioning my future at work and stuff and it has been frustrating more than it ever has in the past so who knows. Maybe some other exciting things on the horizon too but for now I’ll just have to get plodding along again on Monday.
Today I woke up and sat around the house for a bit, watched some foxtel and ate some pasta and meat balls for breakfast. And then eventually ventured over to Jennys house to hang out with her. We sat around and jenny made me a toasted cheese sandwich after being inspired by debbies lunch.
Then we sat around more and I used the internet because at that stage the amazing david hadn’t been here to fix our net. Jenny was feeling a bit ill, so we didn’t go on any big adventures. But it was nice to relax, relaxing is good, just chilling with the mrs.
Later in the evening we did drive down to bobbin head and apple tree bay, it was too cold outside of the car so we lasted abut 2 minutes on the play equipment at bobbin head.
At 7 I met up with david in Westfield. We had dinner at julians pizza and then some gelato at gelatisimo, chatting away about our futures and whats coming up for us. Then over to davids office fro some email checking and then off to greater union for “coach Carter”

It was a pretty good film. A damn long film. 2 hours and 29 minutes.
Samuel L Jackson was cool, although hes always pretty cool in films. I have to say I’m not really a big fan of basketball infact I’m not any level of fan but I still enjoyed this film. It wasn’t a comedy you know one of those all American inspirational sporting films. The dodgy team that are all misfits eventually come through with the good and everyone cheers. Well it was exactly like that. A bit predictable, right up until the end. I don’t want to give anything away for those who haven’t seen it. but lets just say not your average fairy tale ending.
But it was a good ride, some cool characters and not too much basketball.
I give it 5/7

Tonight i went into the westfield toilets to do a wee.
I was standing at the urinal thing doing my business, then i noticed in front of me was an advertisment.
It was a photo of a man and a woman (westifeld customer care lady and westfield secutiy man)
With the slogan “we’re here to help you”
Actually i was doing quite fine without their help.

Well david and i are still in westfield.
In the end Starsky and Hutch was canceled fully so greater union gave us a “breakdown voucher”.
We went to woolies and got biscuits and stuff and then came back to the new internet cafe….played some need for speed “underground” and am now blogging.
this internet cafe is free all week , i’m going to have to take advantage of that.
hence the new “westfield” category.
I’m going to go visit SNOAM now.

Well i’m sitting ni the new internet cafe in westfield, and at the same time i’m in the middle of watching “startsky and hutch”.

You see beinga proud cinebuzz member i decided to go with david to watch an advanced screening of the film today at 4pm. so there we where watching the film when we hit the end of a real and then the next reeel began playing up side down and backwards. Whoever spliced the reels together obviously didnt do a very good job. Everntually greater union staff noticed and stopped the film at 5:15. A man came in and said we will gove you all free tickets for another film and this one will keep playing in about 20 minutes. Then at 6:10 the man came back and said 30 more minutes. What do you do? the film doesnt open until thursday so if i leave i wont get to see it again until thursday.
SO daviud and i decieded to come to this new internet cafe and blog while we wait for the film to re-start again…
posh and this new internet cafe is free all this week.
So far its a damn fine film.
